My good lady wife, Louise, can be tempted away from home at Christmas but she has conditions; we have to stay in a catered chalet and it has to offer the very highest standard of accommodation because "why would we want to spend money staying somewhere that is not as nice as our own home?"
Now you can call her demanding and, to be honest, you’d probably be right but, as the main driver for ski holidays in my family, I have to tread carefully lest she decrees that we are off for some winter sun in the Canary Islands!
On the lower ground floor, there is also a cinema room with XL screen, surround sound and Playstation 4. Outside, guests benefit from a huge terrace with stunning views, a sunken hot-tub and a sauna house.
For guests in this chalet we provide private transfers to and from the slopes and the service is available from 8.30 - 10.30am and from 1.30 - 6.30pm with various drop-off/ pick-up points: Chaudanne, Méribel Village and Rond-point.
- Hot breakfast four days per week
- Continental breakfast three days per week
- Afternoon tea & cake six days per week
- Four-course evening meal six nights per week
- Beer & wine
And, of course, on the big day you will be served a full Christmas dinner with turkey and all the trimmings!

A luxury chalet in Méribel
If your partner is similar to mine then I have some good news for you... Impala is a truly five-star chalet with beautiful accommodation which will, of course, be bedecked in Christmas decorations and have a Christmas tree in the corner for you to put your presents underneath! The large and open-plan lounge/ dining area has some stunning features including a double height open-fire (how else could Santa get in with his gifts?) and warehouse style glass walls through to the kitchen. The chalet has seven unique en-suite bedrooms spread over three floors.
