DID BRITISH SEASONNAIRE WORK WHILST HUNGOVER?
Swiss mega-resort Verbier is buzzing with the baffling news that Hugo Tindsley, of Ashurstwood W. Sussex, prepared breakfast for twelve chalet guests whilst hungover, unshaven, and in the same pants that he had worn the previous day.
Tindsley, who works as a chalet host for British holiday company Lush Chalets, was spotted drinking strong continental lager until the wee hours of Thursday morning. And yet, guests in Chalet Zizi were served a continental breakfast no more than five hours later.
A spokesperson from Lush Chalets released the following statement:
"We're uncertain as to the source of this absurd speculation, but an investigation is underway. The accusation is wildly out of character for winter season staff - who come to Verbier for the fresh mountain-air, to improve their French and gain hospitality experience."
Tindsley was unavailable for comment and said to be last spotted eating chips at La Marmotte, 11:45 the following morning,
Guests from Chalet Zizi report that the breakfast in question was "delicious, prompt and well-cooked", despite the supposed constitution of their host.
